This body of work is probably the most reflective in terms of what simply catches my eye when I am not encumbered by any particular photographic pursuit. They are images that I have seen while I have been busy with other things – usually while on holiday or on commissions. They comprise human made representations of life and the environments in which they have been placed. The resulting juxtapositions are funny, jarring or just plain stupid. They lack logical explanation and add an unexpected lightness to life.
I have collected these images whilst travelling in South Africa and on trips worldwide.
